Author Lineup for the Book Festival of the MJCCA, Oct. 28-Nov. 19

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) announces the official lineup of authors confirmed for the 32nd Edition of the Book Festival of the MJCCA, taking place from October 28 – November 19, 2023. Regarded as the Southeast’s largest and most anticipated annual Book Festival, this year’s program boasts a robust lineup, featuring some of the world’s most recognizable personalities, cultural zeitgeists, and local authors.

The Book Festival’s selection of authors and guests represents a broad spectrum of speakers, ensuring something fascinating for everyone. Tickets are available here.

Select keynote festival authors include:

  • John Stamos (Film & television star; “Full House,” “ER,” “General Hospital”)

  • Henry Winkler (Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actor, comedian, author, producer, and director; “Happy Days,” “Barry,” “Arrested Development,” “Parks and Recreation”)

  • Millie Bobby Brown (Emmy-nominated actress; “Stranger Things”)

  • Stacey Abrams (American politician, lawyer, and voting rights activist)

  • Walter Isaacson (New York Times bestselling author; previous President & CEO of the Aspen Institute, Chair & CEO of CNN, and the editor of Time)

  • Jake Cohen (New York Times bestselling cookbook author; former food editor of Tasting Table and Time Out New York)

  • Sheila Johnson (Entrepreneur & philanthropist; cofounder of BET; founder & CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts; principal shareholder in the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, and WNBA’s Washington Mystics)

  • Judy Gold (Daytime Emmy-winning comedian, actress, podcaster, television writer, and producer)

  • Ari Shapiro (Renowned radio journalist; host on National Public Radio’s flagship drive-time program All Things Considered)

  • Adam Kinzinger (Former politician and senior political commentator for CNN)

Millie Bobby Brown will kick off the Prologue to the Book Festival of the MJCCA on September 20, followed by Chef Moshe Basson (Israeli chef, restaurateur, and food folklorist) and Robyn Spizman, Edie Fraser, and Andi Simon (bestselling authors).
